12 Day Camping and accommodation (3*) combo

Day 1

Arriving in Maun, the tourist capital of Botswana, you will be met by a Barefoot lodge and Safaris representative and transported to your accommodation. After settling in we will have a brief overview regarding your Safari.

Day 2 and 3

On day two we head back to the airfield. Here we will board a small plane to take us into the heart of the delta. On this flight your luggage is restricted to 20kg per person. We will return to the same hotel after our delta experience which allows us to leave some luggage if needed. After a 20-30min flight we reach our accommodation. During these two days we will have the opportunity to go on a walking safari or a Mokoro ride (local waterway transport)

Day 4

Arriving back in Maun we have the rest of the day to reflect on our delta adventure next to the swimming pool or spend some time wondering the local markets.

Day 5,6,7 and 8

Departing early we head into the Mopani woodlands to reach Moremi National park at lunch time. After a picnic lunch we enter the park and make our way to our first overnight camp site. Camping in Moremi and Savuti allows you a true African experience. No fences around the campsites allow wildlife to travers trough camp at any time of the day or night. Follow your guides guidens will make for a memorable experience.

Day 9,10 and 11

Leaving behind the dusty roads of the African bush we arrive in Kasane, the most northern town in Botswana, situated on the banks of the Chobe river. During the next 3 days we have the opportunity to do a river cruise into the Chobe national park. There is also enough time to plan a visit to the world-renowned Victoria falls. This can be arranged from your accommodation or via your tour guide. Ensure that you have the necessary documents available to cross the border.

Day 12

Today marks the last day of your safari with us. Your guide will be happy to transfer you to the airport or help with the necessary arrangements.
